I always bring family and friends here for the wonderful Baltimore crushes! Thus far I have tried: -original orange crush 5/5 -grapefruit crush 3.5/5 -cosmo crush 4/5 Highly recommend the drink menu as well as their crab dip!

Tyler was a fabulous server. Kept our delicious meals moving, without rushing us. A seasoned staff of hospitality and a strong kitchen staff to make the visit memorable. A must for comfortable and scrumptious dining.

Ordered: - Fried Chicken Sliders (3.5/5) - Maryland Crab Dip (4/5): Very crabby, which is probably what you'd be looking for in a dish named crab dip. - Wagyu Meatball (3.5/5): Dense and quite filling. Perfect if you want some protein, but the taste was just OK. - Fresh Shucked East Coast Oyster (5/5): Indisputably the best thing here, especially during the game day deal at 1.50 per oyster. The sauces are great, and oysters are super fresh and not oceany at all - they go down like nothing! - Choptank Wings (Spicy Sesame) (3/5): The sauce was too salty, and desperately needed something to pair it with. - Fried Oysters (3/5): This tasted like chicken. It's still good, but not worth it if you actually want an oyster flavor (it's also about 3 dollars per oyster). - The Flying Dutchman Oyster Shooter with tequila (3/5): If you like tequila and you like oysters you'll be a fan of this. Otherwise you might struggle to down it. Overall (5/5): We visited this spot at the end of September during our one day trip to Baltimore, and I have to say this spot made the visit worth it - especially since the oyster special on game day is hard to beat! Service wasn't bad and the ambience was pretty quiet and private. Do be aware on game day there is automatic 20% gratuity so make sure that you don't double tip by accident.

While visiting Baltimore and Maryland for the first time, of course we had to try crab cake! A local had recommended The Choptank so we chose to try it out. They have a nice, large patio for outdoor seating and also plentiful indoor space. Our server was friendly and attentive. We chose to share a crab cake and a cup of cream of crab soup. The cream of crab soup was fantastic. Very rich and tasty with a good amount of crab. The crab cake was also delicious. I've never had a crab cake like this; it was mostly just nice chunks of yummy crab. The remoulade sauce was delish and a great compliment to both the crab cake and the crispy fries. The coleslaw was tasty as well and I'm not usually a big coleslaw fan. This was a great introduction to Maryland seafood and I'll definitely return!

This is 2nd time visiting this restaurant and my 1st time visiting for brunch with family. The drink tower was a huge hit of course we said cheers so many times I can't count. The French toast with strawberry was pretty good. Fresh salad, double crab cakes were all good along with the cream of crab soup with I had during my last visit. They have a live musician that played a few tunes as always I requested MJ "Man in the Mirror". The restaurant was able to accommodate a large party without any difficulty. I will definitely visit again for brunch.

Fabulous bar with a good list of specialty cocktails. Parking can be an issue in this area of town and they do not have their own parking lot. Outdoor patio with its own bar is great for three seasons. Closed in the winter. Yet inside is spacious and can hold large groups. Friendly service that is good about keeping your drinks filled. The food really stands out from their salads to their sandwiches to their fresh seafood. I have yet to have a meal that I would not go back for. If you find yourself in Baltimore in the waterfront is too crowded. Check this place out it's worth the drive.

The location was great during our stay at the Admiral Fell hotel. We pretty much just had to walk across the street. The weather was very nice so we sat outside. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The loaded fries were absolutely loaded with crab meat, cheese and bacon. You pretty much had to eat it with a fork. Very good! This is in my top 5 best crab cakes. Loved it. Lots of lump meat with just the right amount of seasoned flavor. Im super picky about coleslaw and I loved theirs because it was not drowning in dressing, the cabbage was crunchy and the slight sweetness of the dressing combined perfectly with the cabbage. The green beans were cooked perfectly too. Crunchy and garlicky (but didn't overdue it). The beer selection could have had some more options, but I was happy with the Guinness Blonde that I ordered. I will definitely dine here again the next time I'm in town!

Situated in the trendy neighborhood of Fells Point, The Choptank is placed smack dab in the center of the "downtown" area. Lucky for us, the weather was lovely that night (managed to avoid the rain) and so we were able to enjoy seating outside. Food was mostly delicious, with the exception being the roasted artichoke hearts which was really annoying to eat. The most memorable dishes we tried were the crab cakes, seafood platter, and the fresh catch fish. Service was great as our server mostly checked in on us if we needed extra bread, water, or any other things. We were able to make a reservation the day of, which was convenient, and walking around afterwards in that cute area was really nice.
